Were looking for a results-driven product marketing manager for operational intelligence products who can expand the worlds most powerful mapping and analytics software into new and existing markets. Utilize your skills to work with product, industry, and sales managers to develop and implement effective marketing plans and programs that increase sales and awareness of Esri's analytical products, especially in the national government and public safety industries. -This position is available in all Esri offices and is eligible for remote consideration.Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing activities for one or more Esri software products including direct marketing, public relations, advertising, social media, and events
  • Conduct market research and customer interviews to identify the pain points, motivations, and needs of target buyer personas
  • Create buyer persona profiles that include demographics, business functions, professional motivations, technical knowledge, and company profiles
  • Serve as a subject matter expert responsible for defining and creating product positioning and messaging
  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to define a roadmap based on market opportunity, customer needs, and key use-cases
  • Define, coordinate, and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches and campaigns that align with corporate strategic initiatives
  • Understand the entire customer journey and assess content gaps for each of the phases
  • Author and edit content for brochures, web pages, case studies, press releases, technical papers, seminars, advertisements, demos, sales tool kits, and other marketing collateral
  • Conduct presentations and briefings to a wide-ranging audience including customers, senior leadership teams and directors, and departments within EsriRequirements
    • Proven verbal and written communications skills; ability to understand and convey technical information in a non-technical manner
    • Strong interpersonal skills; thrive in a cross-functional team environment
    • Experience with marketing technology and common marketing concepts
    • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with previous experience leading programs or highly visible projects
    • Ability to exercise good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
    • Self-starter, detail- and task-oriented; able to successfully manage multiple priorities with guidance from leadership
    • 2-5 years of experience in product, industry, or corporate marketing; communications; business development; consulting; or similar field
    • Bachelors in business, marketing, or related field (masters strongly preferred)Recommended Qualifications
      • Experience or strong interest in learning about advanced analytics and GIS in defense, intelligence, public safety, and security industries
