Overview:Do you have interest in helping shape the future for Indoor GIS? Would you like a growth opportunity serving on a product in a new and emerging space with solution components for Desktop, Server, Web, Cloud, and Mobile? As a Product Engineer on the Indoor GIS team, you will help define how organizations transform their business using Indoors GIS for space management, workspace reservation, wayfinding, asset tracking, location sharing, and more. In this role you using your GIS background and expertise along with user interactions to define software features, test them, create user help for them, demonstrate and bring them to market.Responsibilities:Work with Product Manager to establish software backlog needs, priorities, and define release themesAuthor user stories that define new feature capabilities that guide the software development processDemonstrate software capabilities at iteration and stakeholder review meetingsServe as point of contact to development team on acceptance criteria for features being developedContribute to user interface design for tools, features, and capabilities being developed in ArcGIS ProAuthor and execute test plans; build and manage testing dataset (N-path testing, acceptance testing, regression testing)Create automated testsAuthor user guide documentationServe as technical point of contact to practice team and solution engineersProvide technical review of user guide documentation for accuracy, completeness, and usabilityRequirements:3+ years' work experience in a related field (software development, GIS, IT, architecture/AEC)Extensive experience with ArcGIS Pro; knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, Online, MobileGood written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative mindsetStrong knowledge of GIS data management practicesPassion for Indoor GISBachelor's Degree in GIS, Information Systems, IT, Geography, Computer Science or related fieldRecommended Qualifications:Experience with/knowledge of the following:Working on a software development team developing a software product using Scrum processWorking with 3D dataCAD/Autodesk, BIM/REVITTesting and writing test plansAuthoring user assistance help and user storiesBeing a Scrum Product OwnerBuilding scanning technologies and approachesEnterprise Geodatabases (SQL Server, Oracle) and multi-user editingData modeling spatial modelsPythonThe Company:Our passion for improving quality of life through geography is at the heart of everything we do.
