And you can, too.BAE Systems is looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer to develop automated pipelines for data center/cloud environments and support automated build, test, and release deployments.Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to improve network availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Native development.
• Build automated DevOps pipelines using tools like GitLab.
• Develop deployment jobs for various artifacts in container-based environments such as Docker.
• Participate in developing advanced CI / CD processes to support deployments.
• Engage in design and architecture discussions, building environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters in our on-premises cloud environment.
• Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and ensure consistency and repeatability.

    • Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI clearance.
    • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline with 6 to 8+ years of relevant experience.
    • Experience with DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, GitOps, Bitbucket, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Fortify, Sonarqube, Chef/Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins.
    • Experience with Docker and container orchestration/management tools.
    • Understanding of AWS cloud services.
    • Proficiency with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and operating systems software.
    • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
    • Experience with Agile development and issue tracking systems like JIRA.
    • Knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
      • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
      • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance.
      • Security+ 8570 certification.
      • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
      • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
      • Experience with AWS or similar cloud providers.
      • Understanding of Message Services like NATS, Kafka, Redis.
      • Strong Linux and networking background.
