experienced DevSecOps engineer to develop automated pipelines for
data center/cloud environments and support automated build, test,
and release deployments.Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to
improve network availability, scalability, latency, and
efficiency.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Native
development.
- Build automated DevOps pipelines using tools like GitLab.
- Develop deployment jobs for various artifacts in
container-based environments such as Docker.
- Participate in developing advanced CI / CD processes to support
deployments.
- Engage in design and architecture discussions, building
environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and
configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters in our on-premises
cloud environment.
- Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and ensure
consistency and repeatability.
- Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis,
supporting a blameless post-mortem culture.BAE Systems offers

on-site work at a BAE Systems facility due to the need for
in-person collaboration and the nature of the work.#SWSDRequired
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
clearance.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline
with 6 to 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, GitOps,
Bitbucket, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Fortify, Sonarqube,
Chef/Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration/management
tools.
- Understanding of AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and
operating systems software.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Experience with Agile development and issue tracking systems
like JIRA.
- Knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance.
- Security+ 8570 certification.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud providers.
- Understanding of Message Services like NATS, Kafka, Redis.
- Strong Linux and networking background.
- Software development experience with C++/Java.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $130,355 - $221,603Please note:
Salary is based on market pay structures and individual factors
such as skills, education, experience, and internal
