Overview:Geoportals provide regional- or county-specific collections of content with the powerful mapping tools available in ArcGIS Online. As the product manager, you will be responsible for creating, launching, and building this SaaS-based offering across the world. The successful candidate will have proven software product experience with defining a product based on market opportunities; building and coordinating a team; and coordinating all facets of development, launch, sales, product marketing, and evangelism.Responsibilities:* Develop and document user personas, use case scenarios, and detailed product requirements based on market problems* Lead and work alongside business and software development teams to build and maintain product vision, strategy, and roadmap; keep all stakeholders informed and up to date* Work with Business Development, Professional Services, partner program, distributor, and industry marketing teams to develop channel strategies* Provide the necessary support and training to sales and distribution channels to help expedite sales* Work with customers, potential customers, Professional Services, and partners to develop features and releases that solve problems and provide value* Coordinate with Software Development and Software Products to ensure that features and functionalities required to build, maintain, and serve the logistics of the product are developed in Esri core software and exceed the expectations of our users* Develop product marketing messages to be used to promote the product; provide vision, input, review, and approval for print and web marketing material* Recommend and develop third-party data and software relationships necessary to support market needs* Develop and manage project plans for product launch and subsequent releases and updates* Work with contracts and legal team to establish necessary end user and third-party legal agreements* Write technical papers and assist with generation of marketing materials and social media marketing including blogs* Respond to requests for support at critical customer sites* Support trade shows and conferences as needed* Ensure technical support, customer service, and training readinessRequirements:* Experience in ArcGIS Hub, ArcGIS Online, and location-based content* Proven experience managing strategic relationships* Excellent knowledge of SaaS, web services, web APIs* Excellent verbal and written communicatino and presentation skills* Bachelor's or higher in a technical field such as computer science or mathematics, depending on position levelRecommended Qualifications:* Experience in Pragmatic Marketing Framework* Experience in software product management, with strong focus on building market-driven products to an international customer baseThe Company:Our passion for improving quality of life through geography is at the heart of everything we do.
