• Department: Nursing Job Description Reporting to the Vice President, Patient Care Services, this position is responsible for the overall direction of Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC), Hematology and Oncology Services. The director has oversight and responsibility for all financial, managerial, strategic, and clinical objectives. The director coordinates, plans, and develops all aspects of quality patient care to achieve clinical and service excellence by remaining knowledgeable with all regulatory requirements and Hematology, Oncology updates. The director ensures staff development, performance, and competence, staffing patterns, performance improvement, capital and operational budgeting. The director works collaboratively with the Assistant VP of Business Development regarding internal and external marketing and communication for the departments. This position is accountable to county, state, and federal agencies in addition to other external regulatory agencies for maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Infusion Hemotology Oncology Qualifications
  • Current CPR & ACLS certification required.
  • Current NIHSS certificate required within 6 months of hire.
  • Certification in specialty preferred.
  • Three years' clinical experience in acute care; two years' experience in management with increasing supervisory experience.
  • BSN required; MSN preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements: federal, state, Title XXII, The Joint Commission, and California Department of Public Health.
