Overview:

capabilities. The ArcGIS Online product and team are at the heart
of the ArcGIS system, changing and reinventing the way our
customers think about geographic data and empowering them to expand
the use of GIS across their organizations and to the world. As a
product manager you will be on a team responsible for creating,
building, and growing this worldwide SaaS-based system and
services.The successful candidate will have proven knowledge of
ArcGIS Online, customer workflows and a strong desire to develop
product management expertise. Your emphasis will be on customer
interaction, being the product expert, building team relationships,
and influencing the product's development priorities.
Responsibilities:
Understand and communicate how customers are using the product and
new problems we can solve with innovative features and workflows
that drive value in the productRepresent ArcGIS Online as the
product expert on social media platforms including Esri Community,
Twitter, and LinkedInMonitor and synthesize customer and
stakeholder requirements from various feedback channels and share
with the development team to collaborate and prioritize on the
product's roadmapCommunicate the vision of ArcGIS Online and its
positioning at conferences and eventsOrganize and coordinate key
conference agendas and staff assignmentsManage and communicate the
product's roadmap to customers and internal stakeholdersManage and
implement the ArcGIS Online Early Adopters Community to gain early
feedback on new featuresCollaborate with internal stakeholders such
as global business development, the partner network, distributors,
and product marketing to develop and execute go-to-market
strategies and generate demand for the productWrite technical
papers and assist with generation of marketing materials and social
media marketing including blogsProvide product expertise with key
customers to understand their business needs and assist with
mission critical projectsEnsure internal launch readiness for
product updates with sales, technical support, customer service,
and training
Requirements:
Ability to research customer problems and synthesize into product
requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication and
presentation skillsCapability to effectively document and verbally
communicate market requirements to engineering teamAbility to
cultivate strategic relationships with customers and partnersKeen
interest in customer experience and research to identify the right
problems to solve with ArcGIS OnlineAbility to work well with
remote management and staff across various
departmentsSelf-motivated, organized, creative, and
team-orientedAbility and willingness to travelBachelor's or higher
in a technical field or business
Recommended Qualifications:
Technical expertise of ArcGIS Online, web services, and
SaaSExperience in GIS, Web GIS, and location-based
contentExperience and certifications with product management
framework, like Pragmatic, etc.
