Job Description:
Overview:Our partner managers provide vital support for our
growing ecosystem of business partners, including onboarding them,
coordinating partner benefits, executing partner marketing
campaigns, facilitating partner communications, and advocating for
partners within Esri. We invite you to use your excellent
communication skills and strong drive to engage with partners to
drive these critical initiatives within Esri's global community of
partners. You will work closely with the entire partner team as
well as other teams across Esri to help partners take full
advantage of their investment in our technology and market
presence.Responsibilities:Develop strategic partners. Identify and
engage with new and strategic startup partners, including
early-stage independent software providers (ISVs), content, and
hardware companies. Help drive mutual business by supporting
startups building offerings with ArcGIS technology or integrating
existing products/solutions into the Esri ecosystem.Collaborate
with partners. Assist, support, and drive business partners in
closely aligning their development, marketing, and sales plans with
Esri's strategic goals and objectives. Work with Esri business
development and industry marketing leads to develop sales and
marketing plans for partners.Drive opportunities. Actively seek
sales and sales development opportunities with assigned partners,
including sales authorizations, co-selling strategies, and specific
customer opportunities. Help align the needs of Esri sales teams
with partners' offerings and capabilities to drive new or further
existing sales goals. Leverage CRM to manage opportunities and
document partner participation.Deliver results. Assist startup
partners in defining/refining/renewing/reviewing Esri-based
technical proofs-of-concept and commercial solutions. Engage
assigned partners in crafting and executing go to market plans to
drive significant revenue growth for Esri and for the partners.Be a
strategic leader. Help drive the Esri Partner Network's business
goals and strategies internally and externally. Support both the
Partners' and Esri's technical and business goals and be an
executive level advocate within Esri for growing partner channel
business.Requirements:2+ years of experience supporting or managing
technical partners or suppliersExcellent communication skills and
demonstrated collaboration with a client-focused approachStrong
technical background; familiarity with front-end and back-end
technologies and architecturesAbility to articulate technical and
GIS concepts to partners unfamiliar with GISStrong organizational
skills and the ability to manage concurrent projectsExcellent
writing skills and ability to create documentation in support of
partner programsExperience with social media marketing and external
communicationsExperience with business software including Microsoft
Office and SalesforceFamiliarity with Esri or other GIS
technologyAbility to travel domestically up to 20%Bachelor's in
GIS, geography, marketing, business, or related fieldQuestions
