Job Description:
A company is looking for a Health Information Specialist I.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process requests for patient health information while
maintaining confidentiality and security
Manage patient health records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA
standards and accurate assembly of medical records
Assist with administrative duties and respond to requests for
patient records in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer proficiency and ability to use office equipment
Ability to commute between locations and work overtime during peak
seasons
Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus
Must be able to work with minimum supervision and manage multiple
tasks
