Management of dysrhythmias - Multi-system Organ Failure - Post
Cardiac Surgery (not directly from the OR) - IV insulin protocols -
GI surgery - Chronic/Acute Renal failure - Accessing Ports -
Arterial line management - Blood Product Administration - Central
line care/management - PICC line management - Starting IVs -
Continuous IV sedation - Procedural Sedation Administration -
Titrate Cardiac drips - Titrate Vasoactive drips - CVA/Acute Stroke
management - External ventricular drains (EVD) - Hypothermia
protocol/Arctic Sun - ICP monitoring - Post Neurosurgery management
- Traumatic Brain Injury - Assist with management of BiPAP - Assist
with management of CPAP - Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
- Care of Ventilated Patient - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) -
Interpretation of ABGs - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Ventilator
Management - Infection Prevention - Isolation Precautions/Use of
PPE - Phlebotomy - Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
Description: Seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a community
hospital ICU. Provider support includes interdisciplinary teams
such as physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and
social services. This position will require on-call duties, weekend
shifts, and potential floating to other areas. Candidates should be
familiar with Meditech documentation and SBAR communication. Dress
code requires plain blue scrubs (not provided). Experience with the
management of critically ill patients is essential. Certification
requirements include ACLS, BLS (AHA only), and NIH. Previous charge
experience is preferred. Patient ratios will typically be 2:1
during shifts. Experience in a community hospital setting is
required. Travelers are accepted; first-time travelers will be
considered. One request for time off will be considered, up to 7
consecutive days. No holiday time off will be granted. Candidates
