The role involves performing high-quality echocardiographic examinations and other cardiac ultrasound procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and collaborates closely with physicians and the cardiology team to provide exceptional diagnostic care. This position requires participation in the adult call schedule and flexibility to float as needed across affiliated facilities. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians Participate in adult call schedule: one call shift per week and weekend coverage as needed Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and patient management Maintain equipment, ensure image quality, and follow safety and infection control protocols Accurately document exam findings in the electronic medical record (EMR, Epic) Float to affiliated facilities as required Required Qualifications & Skills ARDMS or CCI RCS certification BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum 1 year of recent echocardiography experience Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound imaging principles Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work flexible hours and participate in the call rotation Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
