Medical Assistant Location: Culver City, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $920 to $1,080 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $23.00 - $27.00/Hourly. Summary: The Medical Assistant supports healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care and smooth daily operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient interaction. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds, and record in the medical record. Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data. Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice. Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs. Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries.
