registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a registered nurse with stepdown (PCU) experience to provide
exceptional patient care in a supportive and dynamic hospital
environment. This contract position is located in Newton, NC,
offering a chance to work across several nearby facilities within
the region as needed, making it ideal for those open to floating
assignments within their scope of practice. Location: Newton, North

work. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum of 18 months of
experience as a PCU RN Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, management of
tracheostomies, chest tubes, cardiac drips, and central lines
Experience with blood products administration, wound care, and
dressing changes Ability to work with complex patient diagnoses
such as CHF, dysrhythmias, stroke, respiratory illness, diabetes,
and more Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and EMR systems,
specifically EPIC Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in
a stepdown unit with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including
CNAs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists Float
within the regional network of medical facilities as required
Participate in weekend rotations every other week and cover 75% of
holidays worked Adhere to facility policies including wearing
designated scrub colors and utilizing free parking Additional
Information: Schedule cycles rotate every six weeks with no on-call
duties Orientation spans two days focused on departmental and
