Psychiatry Opening in Riverside, CALos Angeles 54mThe Psychiatrist will work to support the mission and vision by providing evaluations and medication management services to patients. This role will work with psychotherapists, primary care physicians, and adjunct support services staff. Additionally, this role will support the clinical supervision and professional growth of a psychiatric provider. Salary Range: $299,541.11 - $366,105.80, depending on experience.Roles & Responsibilities Provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessment, evidence-based medication management and treatment, psycho-education, and follow-up to patients Provides health and behavioral health services Provides Medication Assisted Treatment to patients, as needed Provides personal information to and participates in the credentialing process with managed care companies Participates in process and program quality improvement initiatives Participates in case conferences, departmental or agency meetings, as directed Impacts patient experience by demonstrating values of Transforming Care including, but not limited to, courteous and helpful behavior and a commitment to accuracy Completes documentation timely, accurately, and locks notes within 48 hours Provides weekly clinical supervision to PMHNP, PA-C, or other advanced provider equivalent positions Shares accountability for overall patient health outcomes, working in coordination with Care Teams Operates to instill confidence in our care and in our facilities to patients, fellow employees, and other stakeholdersQualifications MD or DO degree Completion of four-year psychiatric residency Completion of or eligible for ABPN Board certification Valid CA medical license required Valid CA DEA license required Valid BLS certification from approved American Health Association provider required upon hire Valid DEA Medication Assisted Treatment waiver to prescribe buprenorphine Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferredAs a private, non-profit 501(C) (3) community health organization, we serve over 350k medical, dental, and behavioral health visits from more than 77k people annually.
