Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, this position is involved in day-to-day operations of their assigned branch, particularly in relation to the facility, the premise, customer service, and logistics. Additionally, this highly responsible position serves the Distribution Manager in any duty assigned and oversight of all forklift operators. The AM Shift Supervisor will have direct supervisory responsibility over a team of designated warehouse operators.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities for Shift Supervisors are broad based:
Oversee the Loading of AM and PM Delivery Trucks
Create and Manage Consolidation and Bin Clean up tasks
Oversee Receiving Containers
Manages Work Tasks and Schedules for Direct Reports
Monitor Direct Reports Performance
Workflow and Process Supervision
Facilitate Staff Meetings and Training
Inventory Discrepancies Reporting
WISE Support to Warehouse Operators
Facility Security and Housekeeping
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Familiar with enterprise software and warehouse management systems
Ability to create reports using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other similar applications.
Strong ability to analyze and problem-solve
Ability to be flexible to changing conditions and needs
Ability to work independently and with other people
Strong oral and written English communication skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, ability to compute rate
Able to maintain confidentiality
Able to interface, work, and communicate with people of varied backgrounds and at all levels

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
