Summary:The Legal Aid Director works under the direction of the CEO
to develop legal program service areas, service deliveryprocedures
and program budget. In addition, the legal director oversees and
supports program employees andvolunteers. The Legal Director also
participates in annual fundraising activities and community
education regardingprogram services.Required Qualifications:---
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school (preferred)---
Admission to California Bar (preferred)--- 2-5 years of experience
in areas of family, conservatorship, consumer and/or probate
law.Essential Functions:--- Develop and implement best program and
client screening/scheduling procedure--- provide quality legal
services including document preparation and legal advice when
appropriate--- Promote YMCA Legal Aid Program through public
presentation and fundraising activities--- Establish professional
relationships with local Attorneys--- Ability to communicate well
both verbally and in writing, and maintains productive relationship
with others--- Follows the YMCA personnel policies, practices,
salary administration plan, emergency procedures and
