10790 - Application/Solution ArchitectPurpose:The Application/Solution architect position is responsible to build and maintain stable and sustainable applications by providing and enforcing architectural standards and by monitoring and adjusting applications. The position will also lead Connected Car application development and operation activities, including architecture setup, review and enforcement as well as maintaining application health, performance, security, and configurations.Essential Functions:

• Research, define, review, and enforce application architectures for Connected Car applications.
• Identify right technology-stacks, platforms, and frameworks to solve existing problems or new requirements.
• Support and provide the guidance/solutions for incidents or problems.
• Understand security requirements and create/implement application security plan.
• Plan and implement automation related to application maintenance.
• Work with application administrators to create and manage CI/CD capabilities and pipelines.
• Support and maintain application backup and recovery processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation of application architectures.
• Conduct risk analysis for new implementation and change requirements.
• Oversee the design and development of the Connected Car application design to meet performance, scalability, extensibility, and maintainability requirements.
• Lead coordination of the application implementations for assigned projects/operations. The coordination will include internal as well as with external stakeholders.
• Develop proof of concept with emerging technologies.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of technology project implementation experience; 5+ years of Architect experience.
  • 4+ years demonstrated team/project leadership experience in solution architect, technical lead, or similar roles.
  • 4+ years of experience in micro services framework and development.
  • Excellent knowledge on application stacks and frameworks including Micro Service, ESB, and cloud architectures.
  • Experience implementing large scale, complex, integration related projects.
  • Strong communication: customer relationship, organizational and follow through skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills and technical documentation.
  • MQTT/IOT Integration experiences preferred.
  • Knowledge on Telematics services preferred.
  • Cloud certification preferred.
  • DB certification preferred.
  • PMI certification preferred.Salary range: $98,060 to $151,008
